Make a corner-triangle shape at the bottom end. You can fold the open end and punch holes to insert a string and make a handle.
Rose Flower hair-pin
You can make a decorative rose flower hair-pin using newspapers. For making the flower, cut long strips of paper and fold them. Then roll and twist till it resembles the inside of a rose flower. Repeat for making the petals of the rose. Glue all the rolled strips and you’re done! Take a bobby pin & glue a piece of paper to it. Stick the other side of the paper to the flower and let it dry. You can also use colorful magazine papers.
Cut newspapers in identical squares and stick them on lamp using glue. Roll up long strips of paper to form pencil shaped cylinders that can be haphazardly glued on to a lamp to create a wonderful lighting effect as light seeps out of the crevices. With enough paper sticks, a dome shaped lamp can be made using papers sticks alone. Using different colored papers beautiful designs can be created.

Create a colorful sun catcher for your windows that can be used all year round. They’re fairly easy to make and all you need to do is squeeze a puddle of glue onto a plate. Brush glue onto small sections of cardboard, using a dry paintbrush. Immediately press pieces of paper into glue, overlapping edges. Carefully brush a thin layer of glue over the paper & repeat the procedure until the cardboard is covered. Allow it to dry. Make a hole and insert a hanger into it. Trim off any edges if need be.
Cut out tubes of rolled newspaper strips. Cut off the edges to make sure they are all the same size. Arrange them in a line to form 4 edges of a square/rectangle as per the size of the photo frame you want to create. Glue them onto a photo frame and let it dry. The same idea can be used to make a mirror frame too, but you’ll probably need longer strips.
